Notice of the A.G.M. posted on the noticeboard in the bar.
5th October 2023
Last day that members may give notice they wish to move a resolution at the A.G.M. Officers and committee members nomination opens. Form posted on the notice board in the bar.
12th October 2023
Agreed wording of members’ resolutions on the notice board in the bar.
19th October 2023
A.G.M. agenda to be posted on the notice board in the bar. Last day for nominations to officer posts.
26th October 2023
Balance Sheet and Statement of Accounts on Notice Board Members proposed amendment to members’ resolutions posted on the notice board in the bar.
2nd November 2023
A.G.M. at 7pm in the Snooker Room, The Hungerford Club

Debbie Hutchins receives the CAMRA Club of the Year award from West Berkshire CAMRA Secretary Mike Avery on 19th April 2023
Congratulations to The Steward, Debbie Hutchins, for receiving the CAMRA Club of the Year 2023 award on Wednesday, 19th April.

We have long been careful about energy use at the club. Well before the current energy price rises we were taking measures to reduce our usage.
Most of our energy usage is electric. We have worked through the club building changing to LED lighting whenever new fittings or bulbs were needed.
In a future update we’ll bring you up to date on the work to refurbish the roof. As part of that work we have had solar panels fitted and a few days ago the installation was completed. If you’d like to see how the panels are performing click the button below.
The Tennis section is affiliated to the Lawn Tennis Association and so members get LTA benefits such as entry into the ballot for Wimbledon tickets. Click here for more details.
Subscriptions run from 1st April 2023 to 31st March 2024. However if you join, or renew, after 1st January and before 31st March your membership will not expire until the end of the following March giving you over a years membership.

When sending out the most recent newsletter and the papers for the forthcoming A.G.M. we have noticed a number of emails returned as “address unknown”.
We ask members to provide their email address at the time they apply for membership. Using email as a means of communicating is a significant saving for the club compared to postage.
Occasionally the email address provided is not legible and on other occasions members change their email address.
