The Falkland Island international bowling squad will be playing the Hungerford Bowling Club to get some match practice before competing in the Island Games 2025 hosted by Orkney.
Bowls has been included in previous Island Games but has been played indoors. This year the competition will be played outdoors on real grass! The Falkland team do not have a bowling green so are having a week of training at the Ramsbury and Aldbourne Bowls Club
24 Member Islands belong to the International Island Games Association. They are:
Orkney, Shetland, Saint Helena, Faroe Islands, Ynys Mon, Menorca, Saaremaa, Hitra, Aland, Alderney, Bermuda, Gozo, Greenland, Cayman Islands, Falkland Islands, Froya, Gibraltar, Sark, Gotland, Isle of Man, Jersey, Isle of Wight, Western Isles and Guernsey.
